CREDIT CARD - JAKARTA. Credit card users will lose the relief provided during the Covid-19 pandemic. The relief includes lower bills than before, lower interest rates, and reduced late payment penalties.
Bank Indonesia (BI) has determined that the relief that has been in effect since mid-2020 will end on June 30, 2023. As a reminder, during the pandemic, credit card interest is set at a maximum of 1.75% per month, the minimum installment payment limit is 5% of the total bill, and late payment penalties of 1% or a maximum of Rp 100.00.
