Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) Registers New Carbon Trading Revenue

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) announced a new revenue stream from carbon trading. The company's Finance Director, Nelwin Aldriansyah, stated that the revenue from carbon trading is in line with PGEO's commitment to participate in the energy transition.

"For the first time in 2022, Pertamina Geothermal Energy has recorded a new revenue stream from carbon credit sales. This proves that PGEO's operations have obtained certification from various carbon credit institutions, giving PGEO the right to monetize carbon credit sales from PGE operations," Nelwin told the media on Friday (17/3).
