KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The global market turmoil does not seem to deter investors from bidding on Indonesian government bonds.
In fact, the latest auction for government bonds, known as Surat Utang Negara (SUN), saw a total of Rp 52.66 trillion in bids, which is higher than the previous auction two weeks ago at Rp 45.97 trillion. Despite the increased demand, the government still only absorbed Rp 20 trillion in nominal value.
