11% VAT Rate Increase Contributes to IDR 13.08 Trillion Additional Tax Collection

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) under the Ministry of Finance has reported that the increase in Value Added Tax (VAT) from 10% to 11% has significantly contributed to the country's revenue.
Director of Taxpayer Education, Service, and Public Relations at DGT, Dwi Astuti, stated that the increase in VAT to 11% has resulted in an additional tax collection of IDR 13.08 trillion in the first two months of this year.
