Mineral Export Regulation Loosened Again

KONTAN.CO.ID -  JAKARTA. The government has finally made a decision: giving raw mineral export leniency to five companies that have mining permits (IUP) and special mining permits (IUPK). Formerly, raw mineral exports must be stopped by June 2023.

The permit extension is granted to five companies until May 24, 2023. The companies must pay the fines due to smelter construction delays, which should be completed by June 2023, as compensation for the permit extension.
