KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Entrepreneurs in the food supply chain are facing challenges at the Port of Tanjung Priok due to the chaotic flow of goods. The demand for goods has increased due to Ramadan and Idul Fitri, but several regulations at the port are hindering their operations.
Two new Minister of Finance Regulations (PMK) have been implemented since last year, which are causing additional problems for entrepreneurs. PMK No. 185/PMK.04/2022 concerns Customs Inspection in the Import Sector and PMK No. 190/PMK.04/2022 concerns Releasing Imported Goods for Use. The regulations require commodities in containers to undergo a scanning process called Hico Scan, which is only carried out at two places, the Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) and PT Graha Segara.
