KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The Ministry of Industry (Kemperin) has cut the quota for electric motorcycle subsidies this year, from an initial plan of 600,000 units to just 50,000 units.

The reduction in the subsidized electric motorcycle quota is due to the low sales achievement of these motorcycles throughout last year. Quoted from the Two-Wheeled Vehicle Purchase Assistance Information System (SISAPIRa), the realization of subsidized electric motorcycle distribution until December 26, 2023, was only 11,532 units.
