KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The Indonesian Coal Reference Price (HBA) for May 2023 has experienced a decrease compared to April 2023. The reference price has declined across several categories. The latest HBA policy is outlined in Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 84. K/MB.01/MEM.B/2023 regarding the Reference Price for Metal Minerals and Coal for May 2023.
According to the regulation, the HBA for coal with a calorific value of 6,322 kcal/kg GAR, total moisture of 12.58%, total sulfur of 0.71%, and ash content of 7.58% is set at US$206.16 per ton. This price is lower than April 2023 when it was set at US$265.26 per ton.
