The Budget for Electric Cars for State Officials in Indonesia is Too Expensive

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Deals of electric cars will step on the gas next year. Not only providing subsidies to the public, but the government has also budgeted funds of up to trillions of rupiah to procure electric cars for officials of the state civil apparatus (ASN).

For the public, the government through the Ministry of Industry has allocated IDR 4.9 trillion in 2024 for electric car incentives. This budget has increased from the 2023 allocation of IDR 1.6 trillion.
