The government's stimulus in the form of subsidies and encouragement for the public to transition from fossil fuel-powered vehicles to environmentally friendly vehicles has contributed to the rise in electric car sales in April 2023.
According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), the sales of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in the domestic market grew by 32.4% in April 2023.
